From 11-1 to the world final: Bandits Gaming's 2025 SFL run
Bandits Gaming claimed the SFL Pro-US title after a near-perfect regular season, then advanced to the World Championship final in Tokyo.
Bandits Gaming turned an 11-1 regular season into the SFL Pro-US 2025 championship and carried that title to the World Championship final.
MenaRD, Caba, Booce Lee and Chris Tatarian led the SFL Pro-US standings with 370 points. Bandits Gaming won its first 11 Team Battles before KuaiShou Gaming handed the team its only regular-season defeat, 30-20, on the final day. The first seed had already been secured before that match.
Finishing first sent Bandits Gaming directly to the US Grand Final. FlyQuest reached the title match by defeating KuaiShou Gaming 50-40 and 2GAME 50-30. The final was a rematch of the previous season, but this time Bandits Gaming controlled it from the opening set and won 70-10.
FlyQuest earned the first 10 points when Riddles defeated Chris Tatarian. Bandits Gaming answered with five straight match wins. Booce Lee defeated Punk and Psycho, MenaRD beat Nephew and Punk, and Caba closed his set against Riddles. The result made Bandits Gaming the SFL Pro-US 2025 champion and secured a place at the world event in Japan.
Street Fighter League World Championship 2025 took place in Tokyo on March 13 and 15, 2026. Bandits Gaming opened the double round robin group stage with a 30-10 victory over Ninjas in Pyjamas, then lost 10-30 to REJECT. On the second day, the team fell 10-30 to Ninjas in Pyjamas and 20-30 to REJECT.
Bandits Gaming and Ninjas in Pyjamas both finished 1-3 with 70 points. Bandits Gaming advanced on the official battle-differential tiebreak and met REJECT again in the final. The Japan representative fielded Tokido, Leshar, Fuudo and Daigo.
REJECT opened the final with a 40-0 set. Bandits Gaming responded in the second set as MenaRD defeated Leshar and Chris Tatarian defeated Daigo, putting 20 points on the board. Fuudo then beat Booce Lee in the anchor match, and Leshar won the opening match of the third set to complete REJECT's 70-20 victory. Bandits Gaming finished as world runner-up.
The appearance added another chapter to Bandits Gaming's history in the first two Street Fighter 6 World Championship editions. Bandits Gaming defeated Japan's FAV Gaming 70-60 in the 2023 World Championship, played in February 2024, and became the first US team to win the title. Japan's Good 8 Squad won the 2024 edition. Across those two editions, Bandits Gaming was the only world champion from outside Japan.
The 2025 campaign therefore combined a dominant regional season with another appearance on the global stage. Bandits Gaming finished one match short of a second world title, but the route from 11 regular-season wins to the final in Tokyo confirmed the team's ability to compete across both league play and a high-pressure international final.
